Renowned Atlanta Chef, Pano I. Karatassos launches Lamb Shack out of a ghost kitchen in Atlanta's neighborhood of Buckhead. Chef Pano, owner of the modern Greek restaurant, Kyma and the Corporate Chef of his family’s restaurant group, Buckhead Life Restaurant Group, which operates 10 restaurants in the Atlanta and South Florida markets. Some of Chef Pano’s culinary training and accomplishments include: a degree in hospitality management from Florida International University, a degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, training and working under 3 Michelin star chefs (Eric Ripert at Le Bernadin, Thomas Keller at French Laundry, and Jean George Vongerichten at Jean George), and beating Bobby Flay in 2019 on the Food Network’s, Beat Bobby Flay. For the past two years, Chef Pano has brought healthy, Greek cooking and ingredients into the homes of many through his cookbook, Modern Greek Cooking and his product line made and imported from Greece called Chef Pano. With so many accomplishments and a passion for bringing the best of Greek dining to Buckhead, Chef Pano opened a ghost kitchen at Kyma in January 2021 to serve his beloved pitas, which he has enjoyed with his family, friends, and staff for many years.
